Survey Shows AMD Ryzen 5 Processors Are Being Well Received!

By

A survey run by 3DCenter last month asked people if they had a negative or positive first impression of AMD’s Ryzen 5 processor series and the results are in. Of the 1,819 people that took the survey an impressive 83.9% said they have a positive impression while 6.7% had a negative impression and 9.4% had an average or neutral impression. We’ll go out on a limb here say that is a tad bit higher than the first and last impression folks had of the now ‘old’ AMD FX processors Do you feel that this survey is representative about how well received Ryzen 5 processors are?

In other Ryzen news the folks over at AMD posted up a Ryzen 7 1700X system build guide that shows off the personal system of Jason De Vos, which just happens to be the Public Relations Manager for all this CPU related over at AMD. You can watch the video of his system build below and take a look at the parts he used.

We did some digging around and found some pretty good deals on the AMD Ryzen 7 1700X processor right now as Amazon has the 1700X in-stock for $333.33 with free shipping. That is a low price, but Micro Center might actually have a better deal as they have the 1700X for $369.99 with $100 off if you buy a compatible motherboard. That means with certain AMD B350 boards you can actually get a board and the 1700X processor for under $360. Micro Center has a landing page full of bundle deals that you can look at here, but be sure to dig around a little as you can get the price lower with other board combinations.
