Study: Kids Glued to TV or Computer Screen at Increase Risk of Cancer and Obesity

By

Experts are warning the public that even if young people get exercise, sitting in front of the television or computer screen surfing the net could put that at a higher risk for cancer in adult life. Many parents and health experts have long known that being a couch potato and not getting enough exercise leads to health problems such as obesity. The study aims to alert parents to get their children more exercise and participate in more physical activities at school and at home.

Studies have also shown that women are more sedentary up to the age of 40 but men have higher levels after 60.
