SteelSeries LogoWhile chatting with the folks at SteelSeries during E3 2015, we asked about a unique piece of software running on one of the computers in the meeting room. We were told that it was the new SteelSeries GameSense engine that hasn’t been announced quite yet. The SteelSeries software team, who has worked with game publishing partners such as Valve, have been hard at work on the SteelSeries game engine, GameSense. We were luckily enough check out the newest build of GameSense which will be released to the public later this month. The essence of GameSense is that the software helps to immerse gamers into the title that they are playing by providing realtime visual feedback via the keyboard.

Jeff Mahlmeister, SteelSeries Chief Developer walks us though a live demo showing us how this integration works with Counter Strike. The SteelSeries GameSense is actually open source so they have an open call to developers to help create and move this new user experience forward. We were pretty impressed with the ease that you could customize your game feedback settings and can really see how enthusiasts will like the new feature. Of course all of these new capabilities are available to SteelSeries users at no cost!
