Steam Summer Sale 2016 Has Started!

Steam launched their Summer Sale of 2016 on June 23 and you have until July 4th, 2016 at 10pm PDT to get in on the specials. One of the two (summer and winter sales) largest Steam sales of the year provides gamers with their eyes on interesting games a chance at purchasing these games at a lower price. Some of today’s featured sales include the following:

  • Stardew Valley – $11.99 USD (20% off $14.99)
  • Sonic Franchise games – 50% off
  • NBA 2K16 – $11.99 USD (80% off $59.99)
  • Payday 2 – $5 USD (75% off $19.99)

Steam Summer Picnic Sale 2016

In addition to Steam’s game sales there are also sales on hardware. The Steam Controller normally sells for $49.99 USD but is now 30% off for $34.99. The steam controller features two track pads in addition to the common analogue stick on the left, X, Y, A, and B thumb buttons, two R and L buttons as well as grip buttons on the back.

Players can now summon their steam games to the TV with the Steam Link. Once the Steam Link is connected to the TV and home network it will discover any computer on the network that is running steam. This allows players to play their favorite steam games with the comfort of their couch for the price of $34.99 (originaly $49.99).
