Nintendo has announced that it will be launching a new version of the Nintendo 2DS in time for Black Friday shoppers later this month. The 2DS will be in a color dubbed “Link Green” and will come with a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D installed. The special Link Edition portable console will sell for $79.99 reports Polygon.
The game is a remake of a classic title that first landed on the Nintendo 64 back in the day. The Link bundle will take its place along with the other 2DS bundles that are available for the same price. One of the other bundles is red and white bundled with New Super Mario Bros. 2 and the other is a blue unit bundled with Mario Kart 7.
Another special something is coming for Nintendo fans as well with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorers Edition. This special version of the popular game will be for the Nintendo Switch and it will come with a 100-page explorers guide and a two-sided map.
The special edition game will sell for $59.99. There is no indication that either of these special edition products will be offered on Black Friday only, which is November 24 this year. The special Link 2DS and Explorers Edition will presumably be offered well after the infamous day where people trample each other to get into Walmart first.
