By

Our contact at AT&T shot us over an e-mail today letting us know that AT&T has announced that some of their GoPhone customers on the higher-end monthly plans will be able to take advantage of rollover data. GoPhone customers $45 and $60 GoPhone plans will be eligible to roll over unused data from their plan for the next 30 days if the plan is renewed. AT&T is beginning the new offer on Friday, May 15th. Those on the $45 per month plan get 1.5GB data usage while customers on the $60 plan can use 4GB without any overage fees being incurred. More details can be found in the AT&T consumer blog post about the new offer.

AT&T GoPhone wants to thank their customers. To express our gratitude, we are giving new and existing customers automatic Rollover Data. Because, some months you just need a little more data to enjoy your surfing, posting and streaming. Starting on May 15, AT&T GoPhone customers who sign up for the $60 & $45 monthly plans are eligible to roll over their monthly unused high-speed plan data for 30 days, as long as they renew their plan on time. Existing customers will be eligible for Rollover Data on their next renewal after May 15.

For example a customer signs up for an AT&T GoPhone $60 plan on May 16, 2015, and he or she uses only 2.5 GB of the 4GB high-speed data available with the monthly plan. When the customer renews their $60 plan on June 16, 2015, they will have 4GB high-speed plan data +1.5GB high-speed Rollover Data to use over the next 30 days.
