Retail Boxed CPU Coolers For AMD Ryzen CPUs Pictured

The folks over at Informatica Cero have an ‘exclusive’ first look at the new AMD Wraith coolers for the upcoming Ryzen 7 series processors. This ‘leak’ looks like it could be very real as we’ve seen two part numbers floating around for the AMD Ryzen 7 1800X, Ryzen 7 1700X and the Ryzen 7 1700 since last week when the box art for the CPUs first leaked.

AMD Ryzen 7 1800X

The flagship AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU will be available under part number YD180XBCAEMPKwith the Wraith Max CPU cooler and also without a CPU Cooler under part number YD180XBCAEWOF. The new AMD Wraith Max cooler has a thermal design power (TDP) of 140W and the dimensions are 105 mm (length) x 108 mm (width) and 85 mm (height). The weight of the AMD Wraith Max CPU cooler is 0.545 Kg. The widely rumors AIO liquid cooler for the Ryzen 7 1800X is missing from this slide, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t another sku for that coming down the road.

AMD Ryzen 7 1700X

The MAD Ryzen 7 1700X is available under part number YD170XBCAEWOF without a CPU cooler and also under part number YD170XBCAEMPK with the Wraith Max cooler.

Lastly, all of the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7 1700 appear to be shipping with AMD Wraith Spire cooler. This CPU cooler appears to be smaller and has a TDP of just 95W. The dimensions are 109 (L) x 103 (W) and 54 (H) mm and the cooler weights 0.425 Kg.

The parts numbers from this image are different than those leaked last week by an online retailer in Europe, but we feel better about the new part numbers since the cooler designs look to be real.
