Report Indicates Red Dead Redemption 2 Campaign is 65-hours Long

One of the things that I have hated about various games over the years is that just as they are getting really fun, they seem to end. You will be able to have lots of fun in Red Dead Redemption 2 before the game comes to an end. GameSpot reports that the game will last 65-hours depending on how you play it. That tidbit comes from a story in Vulture based on an interview with Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser.

Details that came out in the interview about Red Dead Redemption 2 will make you want to play it even more. The game has 300,000 animations and 500,000 lines of dialog. Despite the length of the game, lots of content was cut to make that length.

Among the items chopped was a second main love interest for Arthur Morgan. One of the missions chopped had to do with Morgan fighting bounty hunters on a train.

Rockstar also promises that Red Dead 2 will have an online portion, Red Dead Online, as robust as GTA Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 launches October 26.
