Legit Reviews just got a chance to touch and actually hold the Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC! Inside this tiny processor you'll find the Kryo 385 CPU that uses ARM's big.LITTLE configuration. The four performance cores are derived from the ARM Cortex-A75 design that is the successor to the A72 and the four efficiency cores are derived from the ARM Cortex-A55. The four performance cores clock up to 2.8GHz (25 percent performance uplift compared to previous generation) and the four efficiency cores up to 1.8GHz. There is now 2MB of shared L3 cache and 3MB of system cache on this 10-nanometer LPP FinFET processor. It sounds like we are talking about a desktop processor, but its becoming hard to distinguish processors these days as we are headed to an always connected era.
