So you have heard a lot about Overwatch from your friends, but you haven’t taken the plunge and dropped the money to buy the game? Well, Blizzard has a free weekend coming up that will allow you to play without laying out any money to see what you think about the game. The free weekend starts September 22 and runs through September 25.

From 11 AM PST on that Friday the 22 servers will be live for the free weekend and they will close at 11:59 PM PST on the following Monday the 25th. There isn’t any catch to the free weekend. If you play the heck out of the game, make good progression, and then decide to purchase your progression will carry over reports Playstationlifestyle.

That means you won’t lose all your fancy gear you might have collected. You just need to be sure that you use the same Blizzard, Sony Entertainment, or Xbox Live account you played on when you make the purchase. The free weekend is on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Players will have access to all 25 heroes and 16 maps to check out along with a bunch of modes to play. That means you can try Quick Play, Custom Games, and Arcade. No keys or sign up codes are needed, on consoles you do need to have a PlayStation Plus membership or an Xbox Live Gold membership.
