NVIDIA has released GeForce 337.88 WHQL video card drivers, which are the Game Ready Watch Dogs Drivers! It takes a bit for the files to become live, so if they aren’t on the standard drive page when you are reading this you can grab the Windows 7 or Windows 8 64-bit drivers here. NVIDIA has also released a Watch Dogs Graphics, Performance, & Tweaking Guide that is worth taking a look at if you are picking up this title.
NVIDIA said that the GeForce 337.88 WHQL drivers are an essential upgrade, optimizing single GPU and multi-GPU SLI performance for the open-world game title. In addition to day-of-launch Watch Dogs enhancements, 337.88 WHQL also includes a wealth of upgrades and optimizations that boost system performance and improve existing features. Namely, system-wide DirectX 11 and SLI performance optimizations of up to 75%, new technology that reduces game load times, new and updated SLI profiles, and 3D Vision enhancements that optimize DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 3D titles. One new feature that has been added to the 337.88 driver that Legit Reviews has been trying out is SLI support for 4K SST displays.
Here is a quick look at a system equipped with GeForce GTX 750 graphics card that was run on 335.23 WHQL and 337.88 WHQL drviers. There is a pretty substantial performance gain for both the single and multi-GPU setups.
