NVIDIA GeForce 361.75 Drivers Released For Rise of the Tomb Raider and The Division

NVIDIA has released GeForce 361.75 Game Ready WHQL Drivers and you can download them right now! These are the drivers that NVIDIA GeForce owners should be using when they go to play Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancys The Division (Beta) for the very first time this weekend. This is a big weekend for gamers as the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider debuts on January 28, 2016 and the closed beta for Tom Clancys The Division kicks off takes place January 29th through the 31st.

NVIDIA along with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics released a tech video of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC. The PC version of this game title features NVIDIA HBAO+ Ambient Occlusion shadowing, as well as entirely new effects and settings, and enhancements. NVIDIA HBAO+ adds realistic Ambient Occlusion shadowing around objects and surfaces, with higher visual fidelity compared to previous real-time AO techniques.HBAO+ adds to the shadows, which adds definition to items in a scene, dramatically enhancing the image quality. HBAO+ is a super-efficient method of modelling occlusion shadows, and the performance hit is negligible when compared to other Ambient Occlusion implementations. The result appears to look pretty damn good and you can see Lara Croft in all her HBAO+ glory in the clip below.

If you don’t own a GeForce GTX 970 or faster card you can purchase one up until February 15th and get a free copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider thanks to current game bundle promotions.
