New Samsung Promo Videos for Galaxy S5, Gear 2 and Gear Fit

Samsung has published a pair of promotional videos for its flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone and new wearables; the Gear 2 (and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches) and the Gear Fit. The videos are very well done and focus on the fact that “Innovation is not just about technology. It’s about how it improves everyday life.” The Samsung Galaxy S5 also went up for pre-order at Orange in Romania for 249 with a 2-year contract or 699 without. The Orange pre-order page mentions that the expected delivery date is April 11th.

Samsung has uploaded a 4-minute video that gives a good overview of the key features on the Samsung Galaxy S5. The video covers both the hardware and software, so check out the Samsung Galaxy S5 video below.

Everything from the Samsung Galaxy S5s 16MP camera with super quick auto focusing, fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor, Adaptive Display technology, and new connectivity options are included. This video does a great job showing off the new features and gives consumers a better idea of what they are to expect when the phone launches in April. In case you missed the launch post, the Samsung Galaxy S5 sports a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution, a pixel density of 440ppi and runs on Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 (32-bit architecture) series processor. It also has a fingerprint sensor for secured unlocking of the screen and safe mobile payment, IP67 water and dust-resistant certifications, an improved camera with fast autofocus speed up to 0.3 seconds and the ability to do advanced High Dynamic Range (HDR) shots, and finally a fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2X2 MIMO wireless capabilities. The Download Booster on the Galaxy GS5 is really cool as it can use both 802.11ac and the LTE network to download data at the same time.
