The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 arrived back in late 2015 and is welcomed for an upgrade to kick off 2017. In addition to the 2015 Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release, the Surface Pro 4 released along with the Microsoft Surface Book 2 in 1 laptop. Consumers have received the pair of portable devices well and have since become successful products powered by the Intel Skylake processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 has been expected to release Q1 2017 for quite some time, but Microsoft has yet to officially announce set details of the hybrid build. Since the introduction of Intels seventh generation Kaby Lake processor in August 2016, there is reason to expect Microsoft will be headed in that direction for its CPU.

It is speculated the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come equipped with 16GB of RAM and 512G of SSD. The former Surface Pro 4 operates with Surface Pro 4 currently comes with 512GB and 1TB on SSD and 16GB of RAM.

Recent rumors have been reported that Pegatron Technology is to make the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. The rumor reports the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be equipped with an Ultra HD. In addition, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also rumored to include a wireless charge magnetic stylus. Lets hope Microsoft makes an official statement to clear up rumors at the upcoming CES 2017 just days away.
