Microsoft Publishes Windows 10 Build 10576 to Fast Ring Insiders

By

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10576 yesterday afternoon to those in the Fast ring. This big addition is this release that users should notice right away is an addition to the Microsoft Edge browser that allows users to Cast unprotected content to any Miracast and DLNA device on your network. This means you can cast a video from YouTube, a photo album from Facebook or your music from Pandora with ease. Protected media like that of data from Netflix and other online streaming services will not be supported by this feature. Windows 10 has had Miracast support since day 1 (Windows key + P), so this doesn’t appear to be life altering change. The Edge browser also enables users to highlight and bring up contextual information with the ‘Ask Cortana’ feature. Gamers will be happy to know that improvements have been made to the XBox beta app to reduce the amount of memory used on Win32 games.
