Intel HD Graphics Driver Now Available For Windows 8

Intel beta graphics drivers for the Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview are now available to support 3rd generation Intel Core processors with HD Graphics 4000/2500 and 2nd generation Intel Core processors with Intel HD Graphics 3000/2000. This means anyone using Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge processors have new drivers. The 32-bit and 64-bit drivers provide support for Windows Display Driver Model version 1.2 (WDDM v1.2) features including flicker free rotation, native stereoscopic 3D and Microsoft DirectX 11 video. Intel will provide regular driver updates for Windows 8 from this point on. This driver package also contains version 15.28.0.64.2729 (9.17.10.2729) for Windows 7, so everyone gets a driver update today if they are running Intel HD Graphics and the right OS!

This software driver package will install the beta graphics driver for the Intel HD Graphics 3000/2000 & Intel HD Graphics 4000/2500 for Windows 8 Consumer Preview. These beta drivers will not function with any other product.
