CES 2014: Intel 4K Video Rendering on 24 Cores of Xeon Processors!

At CES 2014 in Las Vegas, I was able to spend some time with Intel. One of the toys that they were showing off was a system that was running a pair of Intel XEON processors. My first thought was how fast could I run with it, but then I saw it was housed in a Cooler Master Cosmos II case and, well I may get out the door, but would be weighed down shortly. Second thing I started to wonder is what would it take to put a real world load across all of those cores. Well fortunately for me, that’s exactly what they had the system setup for! They fired up the Adobe Video editing software and began to render the 4K video they had. That was enough to put a load on all 24 cores of the Intel XEON processors!
