IBM backs Firefox browser

IBM is seriously becoming the champion of open source. It’s recent acquisition of Gluecode and this support of Firefox certainly says it’s so.
The open source Firefox has been given a boost in the corporate world, with IBM?s plan to encourage its employees to use the browser instead of Microsoft?s Internet Explorer.
IBM employees can now download the Firefox browser from IBM servers and also get browser support from Big Blue?s help desk staff.
