The Tango tablet boasts a 7-inch screen, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, WiFi, BTLE, 4G LTE, and a motion tracking camera. The tablet will run Googles Android 4.4 ‘KitKat’ operating system. The tablet was created in close collaboration with NVIDIA and thanks to the powerful Tegra K1 mobile processor developer kit can be used for computer vision and 3D sensing. For example, you can use the Project Tango Tablet Development Kit to track full 3-dimensional motion and capture surfaces in the environment. You need good cameras and a powerful processor to be able to computer vision, run advanced sensor fusion algorithms and process the data from the depth sensing tools.

The Google Project Tango Tablet Development Kit goes on sale in late just for $1024. That price is steep, but keep in mind it is intended for developers and not consumers.
