Google Glass to Get Ray-Ban & Oakley VersionsTue, Mar 25, 2014 - 6:17 PM
Google has announced that its computer headset will become a little bit more stylish thanks to Italian eyewear designer Luxottica who owns Ray-Ban and Oakley. The goal of this partnership is to combine high-end technology with avant-garde design to help sell new versions of Google’s headware. Right now, Oakley and Ray-Ban brands will be involved in the research and development of new products, but don’t expect to see Google Glass on your favorite shades tomorrow. Luxottica states that today’s announcement is major step in Glass’s design but gives no timeline of when the first product will be available.
