God of War Lands for PS4 April 20

Santa Monica Studio has launched a new trailer for the video game God of War that is coming out on April 20. The developers have also given up details on some of the special editions of the game that will be coming. Those editions include the God of War Collector’s Edition, Stone Mason Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and some pre-order bonuses.

The game has been in development for nearly five years and you can watch the new trailer at the bottom of this post. Pre-ordering any edition of the game at a supporting retailer will get you three legendary shield skins. Pre-orders at GameStop or EB Games will get Luck of Ages XP Talisman to improve the luck of the wearer.

It gives an XP gain, increase Hacksilver gain, and increased ability to trigger perks. The Collector’s Edition of the game will sell for $129.99 and includes a cloth map, Kratos statue, a pair of Huldra Bros carvings, exclusive lithograph, and a steelbook case. The Stone Mason edition will sell for $149.99 and is only offered in the US and Canada.

God of War Stone Mason Edition will be “Available in the US and Canada only, this edition includes everything in the Collector’s Edition along with four very distinct, rare items directly from the game. You might recognize Atreus’ wooden Horse and Troll carvings from our E3 2016 debut. They complete the collection with the Huldra Bros, btw. The Stone Mason Ring is a finely crafted piece of jewelry, whose story we won’t spoil. The talking Mimir Head keychain may be your personal favorite after you interact with him in game. Massive credit to Gentle Giant capturing the exquisite detail of these!”

The Digital Deluxe Edition sells for $69.99 and includes the game download, digital artbook, digital comic issue, dynamic theme, Death’s Vow armor set, and Exiles Guardian Shield. It also comes with a Digital Deluxe physical pin.
