GeForce GTX Oculus Rift Bundle Includes 3 Free Games

By

At the end of last year, we went over NVIDIAs bundle of three free games along with the purchase of the HTC Vive VR Headset. Now, GeForce will be rewarding fans that purchase one of the required 10 Series GPUs, along with an Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch (the gaming controller for the VR headset), with the Oculus Rift bundle. Qualifying graphics cards include the GeForce GTX 1060, 1070, 1080, or 1080 Ti but exclude the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Another option would be to purchase a system (pre-built PC) or a laptop that uses one of these graphics cards.

The games that come along with the bundle are the following:

The Unspoken

The Unspoken is developed by Insomniac Games (the developer that has delivered popular titles such as Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive). This game blends magery and downtown superhero battle as you duel in Chicago as an arch-mage strapped with a number of spells with the ability to manipulate your surroundings and use up to four classes.

Wilsons Heart

This is a first person psychological thriller developed by Twisted Pixel Games. The trailer for the game features events that would take place in our favorite old horror movies as it takes place in a hospital in the 1940s. The player goes around as Robert Wilson (played by Peter Weller), along with other stars such as Rosario Dawson (Elsa Wolcott), and Alfred Molina (Bela Blasco).

SUPERHOT VR

SUPERHOT VR was released in December of 2016. In this fun FPS, the player goes around dodging bullets and blocking them with weapons as the enemy is taken down and shattered into thousands of tiny orange pieces. With the action that takes place in this game it seems like a good title that would be perfect to pass the time.

The three games total at just under $100 USD and seem to be pretty exciting titles. With many games becoming available for VR, as well as a number of peripherals that help enhance gameplay (such as VR backpacks, guns, gloves, etc..), now may be a good time to jump onto the VR bandwagon. Although the number of gamers with consoles greatly outnumbers the amount of players with VR headsets, why not be one of the players who experienced the classics before even being considered a classic?
