Gears of War 4 Will Have Cross-Play System

Gears of War 4, developed by The Coalition and published by Microsoft Studios, has just announced that the game will be released on the same day for Xbox One and Windows 10 (purchasing the game for Xbox One allows players to play on Windows 10). In addition, the games director (Rob Fergusson) has stated that the game will allow players across different platforms to play with each other. Gears of War 4 will provide players with the usual campaign mode and PVP (player versus player) multiplayer mode. A newer version of Horde Mode has been confirmed by Fergusson (Horde Mode 3.0) which allows players a co-op experience against AI waves. The game will also support 4k resolution.

Gears of War 4 will be released on October 11, 2016 and can now be pre-ordered for $59.99 USD. The pre-order includes a Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Character Pack that can be used in the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition as well as a Vintage Del Pack that can be used in Gears of War 4. The Vintage Del Pack includes a Vintage Del character skin, an emblem, two Vintage weapon skins, and a Vintage Del bounty.
