Fortnite Guided Missile to Return Today

Fortnite is insanely popular and one of the reasons for the popularity is that Epic is constantly tweaking and balancing the game. Players loved and hated the guided missile when it first turned up. It was a cool weapon that you could ride if you timed it right.

However, the missile was also neigh impossible to escape with high levels of agility and destructiveness. Gamers complained, and Epic removed the guided missile from the game. Epic had teased earlier this week that the Guided Missile would be making a comeback and now we have an exact date.

That exact date is today with the V5.10 Content Update. Epic made that update live at 1AM PT/4 AM ET/0800 BST. The missile has had numerous changes to nerf it into submission. The new missile is more of a scouting tool than an attack weapon.

It has reduced movement speed, reduced turning radius, reduced damage and damage radius, and an ammo cap of 12 rockets in default mode. Epic has also improved control for the mouse and keyboard reports Dexerto.
