Fan-made Fallout 4 Northern Springs DLC Available for Download

Fallout 4 fans who are looking for something cool to play while waiting for Fallout 76 to launch should check out a new fan-made DLC that is available for Fallout 4. The DLC is called Northern Springs DLC and while not an official Bethesda DLC, it certainly is large and has the scale of an official product. The DLC has three new settlements, new enemies, new weapons, and new armor.

There are four fully-voiced companions and a new questline to enjoy. The DLC is set in a rural area that is covered in snow and has lots of forest areas and power pylons. The designers of the DLC say that it is best for higher-level characters of at least level 40. That is assuming you want to survive says jshrapnelc, one of the makers of the DLC.

A video showing what you can expect is below. In it you see the player fighting some Brotherhood of Steel troops along with lots of ghouls. Players will also run into some ghosts in their quest around the DLC. One interesting tidbit is that players get to meet and recruit that Vault-Tec salesman that is seen in the Fallout 4 intro sequence reports PCGamesN.

In the DLC that salesman is a 200-year-old ghoul. This DLC gives you lots to play and explore even if you arent the sort who wants to follow the questline that is included. You can just explore and fight if that is your deal. The mod reportedly took two years to bring to market and you can download it at NexusMods.
