EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition Hits 1900MHz Core Clock

Last week we told you that EVGA was working with Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido to make a GeForce GTX 780 Ti video card aimed at LN2 overclockers. Over the past several days more images and details have emerged on this upcoming graphics card.  For starters it will be called the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition and it will be the brands flagship card for the GTX 780 Ti series. Vince has stated that he was able to reach 1900MHz core frequency on this card and that it was 3dmark Fire Strike stable at this frequency with no hardware/custom mods except the LN2 cooling. He isn’t showing screenshots or saying what the score was, but we have a feeling that this card will be breaking world records here shortly.

I have a whole box full of Old V.C, that were the top cards at there time also and today none of them are worth a dollar because of all the changes like DX 7 or 8 and now 11.1 the same with this card in 2-3 years it will be a dinosaur too..

In two years? No. Not even in five years. Example: my Radeon HD 5870 is still able to run today’s newest games, albeit at lower settings. A GeForce GTX 780 Ti will easily last 2-3 years, but quite likely much longer, especially if overclocked.

    WOW O_O!
AMD can come with a super water cooling solution for R9 290x and still it will be slower than this baby monster GTX 780Ti!

Given it’s a 100% boost in clock rates and clock rates scale more linearly than SLI does, it probably beats a pair of 780ti at 1100MHz!
