EVGA has started to sell their GTX 400 Series High-Flow Exhaust Bracket that is said to lower GPU temperatures by up to 5C. The bracket is said to be compatible with GTX 480, 470, & 465 video cards. The MSRP on the bracket is $9.99 and tehy ship it to you for free. Our frequent readers will remember that we showed you this bracket at Computex 2010, so EVGA has gotten this to market very quickly.
EVGA was also showing off their GeForce GTX 470 that features a new back plate that has larger holes in it for hot air to get out easier. EVGA said that changing this plate has reduced temperatures by 5C alone, which is amazing. By increasing the size of these air vents and making slots just above the DVI ports EVGA has done something great that really helps the user experience.
