ESL, which claims to be the worlds largest eSports company, has announced that it will be broadcasting its core content on several different streaming platforms. First up, they will broadcast the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship (IEM) from Katowice on march 4-6. The ESL broadcast will be available on Twitch, Azubu, Hitbox and Yahoo streaming platforms.

In the past, ESLs events have done very well with viewers breaking records including the highest number of concurrent views on a single channel when 1.3 million people tuned in to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition during ESL One Cologne 2015. With three new streaming channels, ESL expects even larger numbers expanding their world-wide broadcast reach.

The most important aspect to keep in mind when creating an esports broadcast is the audience,” said Nik Adams, Senior Vice President Global Sales & Business Development at ESL. “Expanding our distribution channels was done with this very audience in mind. Now viewers all across the world have greater flexibility in choosing how to consume ESL content – a first step with many more to follow.”
