Details of Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Raid Content Revealed

By

When news of the Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris DLC landed in late October one of the promises made with the DLC update was that new raid content would be part of it. The catch was that there were no real details on what exactly the DLC would include. Thanks to some new livestreams about the DLC, we now have details reports GameSpot.

The update brings a new Raid Lair that is on Leviathan. The new lair has an entirely new set of encounters and puzzles along with a different final boss for players to battle. The original Leviathan Raid is still playable. The new Raid Lair will also present gamers with new Raid challenges to complete each week.

The new Raid Lair is a six-player activity and a Prestige version of the raid will be available eventually. There will be rewards to earn in the lair, but these rewards are still a mystery. The Raid Lair will land with the Curse of Osiris DLC on December 5 for PS4, Xbox, One, and PC.

Bungie says that these new Raid Lairs will allow it to launch new Raid content more frequently. The Raid screen gains a new node that is home to the second Raid Lair. Another DLC expansion is due in the spring of 2018 and presumably it won’t bring a new full raid to the mix either.
