Destiny 2 PC Open Beta Has Begun

Yesterday marked the launch of the Destiny 2 PC early access beta for the anticipated game Destiny 2. With the early access portion of the beta come and gone, the open beta for PC gamers is now going on. That means if you have a PC and want to get in on the beta testing action, you can for free. The PC Beta client for the game is available now and to download the game you need a Blizzard Battle.net desktop app and a Blizzard account.

No codes for signing up for the beta are needed, all players can log in and play. Once you have downloaded and installed the Destiny 2 PC Beta you are ready to play by clicking the Destiny 2 icon on the left side of the Battle.net desktop app. Blizzard does offer up recommended specs for the PC that you play the game on.

It suggests a Core i5-2400 or Ryzen R5 1600X CPU. Recommended GPUs include the GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390 and a minimum of 8GB of RAM. Minimum specifications include a Core i3-3250 or AMD FX-4350.

Minimum recommended GPUs are the GeForce GTX 660 2GB or an AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB and 6GB of RAM. You will need some hard drive space obviously for the download, the PC beta is about 16GB in size. Destiny 2 is expected to be huge on the PC and move 5 million copies.
