Destiny: 2 Legendary Collection comes with base game from now on

By

Bungie has a new expansion pack coming for Destiny 2 called Forsaken. That expansion requires that gamers have all the past expansions to play. Due to that requirement Destiny 2: Legendary Collection will now come with the base game. The base game includes Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken.

The latter is the coming expansion pack, which you can see the trailer below. Getting the entire game collection will be a good thing for players who are new to the game. Destiny 2: Legendary Collection will cost players $59.99 and can be pre-ordered now. The collection doesnt include the Destiny 2 Annual Pass.

That Pass will cost $34.99 and includes the three-coming mini-expansion that will land after Forsaken launches. A Destiny 2: Complete Edition will come with that Annual Pass and all the older game content for $99.99 reports Polygon. That pricing is suspect since it appears cheaper to buy the Legendary Collection and the Annual Pass as separates, perhaps there will be more included in the Complete collection.

The Destiny 2: Legendary Collection will launch September 4 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The Complete Edition will presumably launch at the same time.
