Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Expansion Gets Official

By

Activision has announced a new expansion pack that will land for Destiny 2 in December. That expansion pack is called Curse of Osiris and some details about what gamers can expect to see in the expansion have landed. The expansion promises all-new story mission and adventures set on Mercury. Players will journey through time and space to help avert a dark future according to the description.

The expansion will allow players to explore Mercury and its “Infinite Forest.” There will be a new mission and adventures to enjoy along with themed weapons, armor, and gear that players can earn. Players will get to play new cooperative activities and fight it out in new multiplayer arenas.

The expansion will bring a new social space called the Lighthouse, new missions, new strikes, and new raid content. There will be new free roam activities and a new world quest to complete along with more content. One thing that PCGamer doesnt like the sound of is the phrase new raid content which suggests that there will be no actual new raid.

The Lighthouse social space was previously only available for gamers that were flawless in the Trials of Osiris weekend PvP elimination format. There is no word just yet on exactly when the Curse of Osiris expansion will land. There is a callout for another Destiny 2 expansion to land in the spring of 2018.
