King of Wushu
King of Wushu is a third-person fantasy martial arts multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game title for the PC that was built using Crytek’s CryEngine 3. Developer Snail Games was able to covert King of Wushu to run on DirectX 12 and Windows 10 in just six weeks thanks to the efforts of just two engineers. Microsoft stated at BUILD that DirectX 12 is seeing the fastest adoption rate by titles under developments since Direct3D 9. Microsoft also said that work on the new DX12 API is complete.

To celebrate the achievement and to show off the work they accomplished they released a game trailer shows that the DirectX 12 version renders faster the original DirectX 11 with less CPU usage. The DX12 version of King of Wushu will be released sometime this year after Windows 10 is released.

You can see the demo video clip below that shows off the performance benefits of DX12 and see the character detail they have been able to achieve. You can view the DirectX 12 panel that took place at Build 2015 on the Channel 9 site.
