Corsair Obsidian Series 700D Full Tower PC Case ReviewFri, May 07, 2010 - 12:00 AM
The 700D comes in sturdy box styled in normal Corsair fashion.
I was a little worried when I first saw the box; it took a good hit in shipping.
Even have a hole poked in the side.
I opened it up and got even more worried. The Styrofoam end cap was busted.
Pulling the case out of the box it comes wrapped in a plastic bag.
With the case out of the packing I was relieved that the case was in great shape — not a scratch on it. The packing did its job perfectly.
The front panel is anodized aluminum. To help keep it from getting scratched up in shipping it is covered with a protective film. To peel all of it off I had to remove the whole front panel as it wrapped around the sides.
