Cahilly worked as the NBA’s Chief Strategic and Financial Officer since January 2013 until stepping down in June 2017. It looks like he has a non-executive capacity on Carnival Corporation’s 11-member boards of directors and now has joined up with Corsair. Prior to his four years with the NBA, he had more than 17 years of experience in the media and entertainment field as an adviser and principal investor. 12 of those years were at 2 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.

“Jason is an exceptional addition to our Board of Directors and we are very pleased to welcome him,” said Andy Paul, CORSAIR’s Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to gaining insights from Jason’s unique perspective and leveraging his invaluable experience in a wide variety of areas, especially as eSports expands and converges with traditional sports worldwide.”

“This is an exciting time for the development of eSports and its players, who are only just beginning to gain the recognition they deserve as true athletes of exceptional skill,” said Cahilly. “I’m honored to join the board of CORSAIR, the premier brand and leading innovator of the highest-performance gear in the space. I have tremendous respect for Andy and the rest of the CORSAIR team, and I look forward to working with them.”
