Corsair Doubles Down on eSports By Hiring Former NBA CFO Jason Cahilly

Corsair announced this morning that that Jason Glen Cahilly, former Chief Strategic & Financial Officer of the National Basketball Association (NBA), has been appointed to the companys Board of Directors, effective immediately. Cahilly, a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in the global sports, media, entertainment, technology and leisure industries, will serve in a non-executive capacity on CORSAIRs Board of Directors.

Cahilly worked as the NBAs Chief Strategic and Financial Officer since January 2013 until stepping down in June 2017. It looks like he has a non-executive capacity on Carnival Corporation’s 11-member boards of directors and now has joined up with Corsair. Prior to his four years with the NBA, he had more than 17 years of experience in the media and entertainment field as an adviser and principal investor. 12 of those years were at 2 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
