Tylt

Tylt is once again introducing new Qi charging cradles at CES 2016. The Vu 2.0 utilizes a three-coil charging solution, helping to ensure that your device always lines up for optimal wireless charging; plus it can be used in both a flat position, or raised. The VuSolo 2.0 however uses a single coil, but has a slider to help you lock in the optimal charging position. Both of these two new chargers charge devices with up to 15W of power, charging devices 3x faster than the older models. The Vu 2.0 has a retail price of $79.99 while the portable Vu 2.0 Solo is priced at $49.99.

USB Type-C is starting to become in high demand, so Tylt has updated their Y-Charge to include one USB Type-A and one Type-C connector. Otherwise, it remains the same as the previous generation Y-Charge devices with quick charge capability. Pricing wasn’t immediately available.

Not to forget about updating their portable battery chargers, Tylt has redesigned their batteries, and developed a docking station for their new Turbo Portable Batteries. Ensuring the batteries are ready for the latest technology, a USB Type-A and Type-C connection is included on the entire line. If your laptop happens to use Type-C for charging, you can even use the battery to charge the laptop! Tylt’s DualFuel technology allows the battery to recharge up to 5x faster than normal charging. The docking station makes it easy to grab the charger and go. This new battery line will be available in sizes from 5,200mAh up to 20,800mAh, and will have a suggested retail price range of $29.99 to $89.99 depending on the size.

Tylt’s other new line of portable battery chargers is the Turbo Smart Charger, once again they integrate both a Type-A and Type-C connection, and either a lightning cable or micro-USB. In addition, it has AC prongs to plug it directly into a power outlet to recharge it. While it will be available in multiple battery sizes, the biggest version is the 13,400mAh, and can be recharged in two and a half hours! Once it becomes available, this battery has a retail price range of $39.99 to $99.99 depending on size and cable.
