ASUS Debuts Cool PCs at Computex

By

ASUS has rolled out some cool new computers at Computex and among them is the new ZenBook Pro that crams nice hardware inside a very thin machine. The CPU inside the machine is an Intel Core i7-7700HQ and the graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU. ASUS also outed the ZenBook Flip S.

That machine is billed as the “world’s thinnest convertible” and packs a 4K display for entertainment. These first two products are definitely aimed at the high-end market, but ASUS has some new stuff for the mainstream masses as well reports CNET. The mainstream products include new VivoBooks with 7th gen Intel processors.

Those mainstream machines also have discrete graphics via GeForce GTX 1050 GPUs. The lower-end VivoBook S15 packs in a GeForce GTX 940 GPU. According to CNET that was it for ASUS at Computex this year. If you were hoping for some new information on the Zenbo robot, none was offered.

Zenbo was one of the coolest things announced at the show last year. That fact disappointed IDC VP of Client Devices Bryan Ma. He said the lack of any new information makes Zenbo seem to be a side project for ASUS.
