Ubisoft has published the official PC minimum and recommended specifications for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate ahead of the games release on November 19th, 2015. It looks like the system requirements for PC gamers is fairly stout for those wanting to get high frame rates Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Ubisoft recommends that an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB graphics card be used for the recommended settings or at a bare minimum that you are using a GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 270 (The 2GB version). The specs are pretty much what we expected, but take a look at the fine print about 1080P gaming.

“For a recommended experience, the game requires a video card with at least 3GB of VRAM when playing at a full HD resolution. While we encourage you to fiddle with the advanced options to fully customize your gaming experience, please keep an eye out for the VRAM meter usage when you adjust these settings.”

It appears that for the bulk of our readers and the gaming public that have 1080P or higher displays that you’ll want to have a video card with at least 3GB of memory. That might encourage some folks out there to update at least their graphics cards. The recommended specs only call for an Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge processor at 3.5GHz and we all know that the old Intel Sandy Bridge processors can be overclocked higher and are just as capable.

You’ll also find a ton of NVIDIA Exclusive features on this game title. For example you have NVIDIA’s Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion (HBAO+), Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TXAA), Percentage-Closer Soft Shadows (PCSS) as well as support for GeForce Experience and NVIDIA G-Sync monitor support. Those features might help lure some folks to the NVIDIA side when shopping for a new graphics cards. Both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards will be able to run Multisample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA), Multi-Monitor (AMD Eyefinity & NVIDIA Surround) and AMD Crossfire/NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU setups in Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.
