Art Lebedev To Launch Optimus keyboard on February 1st
The Optimus Keyboard has been announced to be released February 1st 2006! This keyboard got a ton of attention in 2005 and the launch date is now in sight. No work yet on the pricing of the keyboard, but it is sure to be a tad bit expensive when it first comes out. Currently there is no way to pre-order one, but it sure would be nice to have the ability!
At first glance the keyboard looks like a normal QWERTY keyboard, but don’t let the looks deceive you. This is actually the first keyboard that have run across that is made with organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) on every key. Never heard of OLEDs? You are going to hear the term more often as they are brighter and more colorful than both LCD and Plasma screens, plus they don’t require power-draining backlights.
