By

Rumors are pointing to the idea that Android 7.0 Nougat (Android N) could launch today and that Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X owners will be the first to get the new OS. Android 6.0 Marshmallow, hasn’t even been out a year, and many Android owners are still waiting for it to become available for their devices. That hasn’t stopped Google working on its follow-up, Android 7.0 Nougat. Google unveiled Android Nougat Developer Preview over a month ago and those with Sony Xperia Z3, Google Pixel C and Google Nexus devices were given early access to early builds. Huawei and LG have also both started limited consumer trials of Android 7.0 on the Huawei P9 and LG G5 respectively. It has been reported that the upcoming Google Nexus 7 tablet and Google Nexus 2016 smartphones, Sailfish and Marlin, will be released this year with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed.
