Images of what is said to be the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 video card have leaked out over at VideoCard. The site says that this is the lowest priced VEGA model and is based on RX 500 reference design. The Radeon RX Vega 64 reference card has two 8-pin power connectors, three DisplayPorts and one HDMI.

What happened to the AMD Radeon RX Vega XTX and XT? It appears those names are no longer! It appears that the AMD Radeon RX Vega lineup will feature two cards, the Radeon RX Vega 64 and the Radeon RX Vega 56. It is widely expected that AMD will show off the Radeon RX Vega 64 variants soon with retail availability coming in August. The AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 is expected to launch September and will only be available from AIB partners. The big difference between the two models is that the Radeon RX Vega 64 will have 4096 cores while the Radeon RX 56 will have 3584 cores. The AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 will be available as a dual-slot air cooled card and a liquid cooled appears to be happening. We also expect there to be limited edition versions coming out that has a nicer finish thanks to premium material and possibly enhanced lighting.

AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 and Radeon RX Vega 56 pricing remains unknown and many of the sites famous for leaking information and making guesses aren’t trying. It will be interesting to see what these new gaming graphics cards will cost!
