AMD Radeon R9 M390X Mobile GPU Announced by Alienware

Alienware went on Twitter and posted up that they are now offering AMD Radeon R9 370 and Radeon R9 M390X with 4GB of memory graphics solutions. This is the first time that we have seen the R9 M390X GPU mentioned for mobile devices.
From what we gather every new mobile GPU is a re-badge of an already existing GPU with higher clock speeds that were achieved from manufacturing process improvements that usually happen over time. We dug around a bit and found that the GPU use in the image above for the R9 M390X most certainly looks like Pitcairn GPU that was used on the AMD Radeon HD 7800 series and Radeon R9 270 series.
