AMD Gives Quick Update on Frame Pacing Solution

Are you wondering what AMD is up to with their frame pacing fixes? AMD just e-mailed Legit Reviews and let us know that that a new Catalyst beta driver is coming in January 2014 that will enable the frame pacing solution they came up with for those running AMD Eyefinity setups and those gaming at Ultra HD resolutions! This fix has been a long time coming, but at least AMD has said that it will be out next month.

“Hi Wanted to give you a heads-up on the next update to our frame pacing solution that will be introduced to all GCN and earlier products that didnt have it until now. Frame pacing will be enabled for CrossFire configurations running Eyefinity and UltraHD resolutions. Were planning to post a beta driver publicly sometime in January of next year (we dont expect any delays, but this, as always, might change).” – AMD PR
