Aqua Computers Announces GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 Kryographics Water Blocks

Aqua Computer has made kryographics water blocks available for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition video card owners! This full coverage water block keeps the GPU, RAM and VRM components cool on both GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 Founders Edition reference cards. It looks like the too cards are so similar that the same GPU cooler can be used on both models!

During the design process the creators tried to get the best cooling performance possible for the new Pascal GPUs and went with a low resistance water block design with a bypass channel. The bypass channel reduces flow resistance by splitting the coolant flow to different areas of the water block after the coolant went past the hot GPU. The Kryoconnet water block series also features a delrin connection terminal that has a significantly reduced flow resistance compared to the previous aquagraFX series.

All mounting threads are equipped with nickel plated brass spacers for easy installation and to prevent twisting the graphics card. The areas contacting the GPU and RAM modules are polished for excellent heat transfer. For the voltage regulators, a thermal pad with high thermal conductivity is included.
