Xbox Games with Gold Titles Announced for August 2017

Gamers who like to download the free games that Microsoft offers up each month will be glad to hear that the titles for August 2017 have been announced on Xbox.com. For next month gamers will have four new titles available for download with a pair of them being Xbox One titles and the other pair being for Xbox 360 gamers. Xbox One players can play all four thanks to backwards compatibility.

The titles include Slime Rancher on Xbox One available from August 1 through the 31st. Trials Fusion will land August 16 through September 15 on Xbox One. Bayonetta will be available from August 1-15 on both systems. Red Faction: Armageddon will be offered from August 16-31 for both systems.

Slime Rancher is a game focused on a rancher Beatrix LeBeau who isn’t ranching cattle, but ranching slimes using vacpacs and jetpacks as tools. Trials Fusion is a motorcycle game where players face a variety of levels that have them pulling off lots of tricks and stunts on their bikes.

Bayonetta is an action game described as being “Stylish with over-the-top finishing moves and epic set pieces.” Players will play with all sorts of magical powers and deadly weapons to battle their enemies. Red Faction: Armageddon pits players against an ancient evil on Mars that the player is responsible for releasing. This game allows players to play in co-op mode or in solo mode campaign.
