Windows Firewall flaw may hide open ports

Microsoft have already release a update already. The “flaw” affects Windows inbuit firewall. It seems to be possible to create a rule to open ports which will not show up in the standard user interface. The attacker would need admin rights to change affected regisrty entries.

A flaw in Windows Firewall may prevent users from seeing all the open network ports on a Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 computer.
