Google appears to be gearing up to announce some big changes and new products in the “Nexus” series of phones and tablets today. From the sounds of it, Google is actually going to end the Nexus line and introduce the Google Pixel series. Word on the street is that the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones will be launched today and will be the new flagship Android devices. Word on the street is that they will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processors with 4GB of ram, an Adreno 530 GPU and 32GB to 128GB of internal storage space with a microSD slot for expansion. According to the specs published on Carphone Warehouse, the Pixel comes with a 5-inch display, with a 1080 x 1920 display resolution and a 2770mAh battery. The larger Pixel CL will have a 5.5-inch display, 2560×1440 Quad-HD screen resolution and a 3450mAh battery. Both phones are said to be identical in looks and both feature a reversible USB Type-C port on the bottom and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the top.
