Walking Dead Episodes 3 and 4 in Development Now at Skybound

Walking Dead fans know that when TellTale games went up in smoke suddenly the future of the game was unsure. We learned later than the final season of the game had a new developer. The developer is Skybound, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s media company.

Episodes 3 and 4 are in development now, and Gamespot reports that there are some of the TellTale developers working on the game. At least some of those folks appear to have landed jobs at Skybound. Work on the new seasons kicked off yesterday.

Skybound noted that while it kicks things off on the development front, some of the older seasons of the game might be removed from the store. The company says that those who own the older episode won’t have to purchase them again when the games go back live.

Skybound also notes that the release dates for Episodes 3 and 4 have been delayed. It offers no new release dates at this time, but don’t expect them to be soon.
