Vertagear SL2000 Assembled Chair Pictures

The Vertagear SL2000 gaming chair assembly process wasn’t that complicated and in about five to ten minutes you’ll have a fully assembled chair. It has a slight hint of a plastic/chemical smell when you first put it together, but we found that went away after a couple days. That is called outgassing right? We assembled our chair outside and was able to get it inside through both 32″ and 28″ doorways without needing help or banging into the door frame, so this is a pretty narrow chair and can be easily moved into and out of rooms in your house. The two pillows are placed on the chair so you can see where they go, but they are totally optional and you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to.

Here is a gallery of nine fairly large images that shows the Vertagear SL2000 fully assembled.

We think it came out looking very nice and found the seat to be firm, but still comfortable. The chair and side arms are both height adjustable. You can adjust the tilt with the knob under the front of the chair and you’ll need to adjust this to your body weight so you can get the rock just right. Lastly, the seat reclines up to 170 degrees and is angle-adjustible. With these options you should be able to get into a comfortable position with decent ergonomics for those long gaming sessions! The PVC leather chair surfaces wouldn’t be our first choice as we love real leather, but unlike leather, it is stain and liquid resistant.

full-recline

Here is a shot of the SL2000 chair fully reclined. This chair can recline 170 degrees back, so it can nearly lay flat! There are numerous positions in-between and and you can even fold it forward. The roller wheels worked good on the concrete and hardwood surfaces that we have. We don’t have a carpeted floor to test on, but we always used a floor mat on carpet anyway. We didn’t hear any sounds in sitting or rocking in the chair, so the general construction of the Vertegear SL2000 chair appears to be well designed. Hearing squeaks and noise when moving around in the chair is very irritating and we are glad this chair doesn’t have any from the start.
