Twitch Affiliate Program Gives Steamers Another Method To Earn Money

A few months ago, Twitch added an affiliate program which gives streamers an additional method to earn money. To qualify, streamers must meet a quota oft 500 minute streamed within a period of 30 days, no less than three average viewers, and at least 50 followers. The criteria which needs to be meat makes it so even new streamers can get in the affiliate program. As of now, streamers may receive shared revenue of 5 percent of any games or items through the Twitch store. Better yet, streamers dont have to be partner to get a cut through the program.

Streamers can begin to earn their share now. To do so, streamers who qualify for the affiliate program must stream a game offered in the Twitch store. Next, a purchase link will appear on the page for viewers watching the stream. In addition, affiliate streamers also have the recently introduced Cheering to receive shared revenue.

Even though the enhanced program gives streamers a cut of influenced purchases, Twitch will need to continue to expand upon qualified titles through the Twitch store. Twitch has stated, “At launch, we are offering support for PC games only.” Current notable titles available today include Axiom Verge, Darkest Dungeon, Outlast 2, Watch Dogs 2 and more shown here.
